                   I chose this because i wanted to believe in myself that i can do it.

camp moment

“Yes Bulls eye on first shot” I just got 100 points for my team by getting a bulls eye. You know the saying “the sweet taste of victory.” It all started of in getting into teams the instructor put us into groups I think it was  boys vs girls.

I did not  know anyone properly in the group that I was placed. In fact I did not even know Nelson at all! Lucky I was put in this group. Another reason for that is because one of my teammates got a balloon. Oh I forgot to tell you about the balloons.

Remember when I told about when I got the bulls eye?. Well just after that the instructor put two balloons on each target. Each balloon equals 300 points. When it came to my turn all I could here was my team cheering “You can do it Divit, you can do it”.

As soon as I put my arrow in it felt as hot as burning wood. I pull...puff... I shot the arrow and heard it go through the wind. Darn it! As soon as it hit the pink bright balloon it bounced off. Maybe I did not have enough power. It was all up to this last arrow. Pull back. Shoot. I mean what a shot I was speechless.”
